The Thesis Question

As my time gets closer and closer to choosing a thesis for my grad program, I was wondering if any of you out there could potentially give me advice on how to exactly choose a thesis? What would you recommend to finally arrive at a thesis worth pursuing? How do you know there is enough information to write 70 plus pages? Anyways, any information and advice would be greatly appreciated!
